The story behind this design
Boards are drawn from directly underneath, so the full deck graphic shows, and the cassettes sit beside them with their spools and labels intact. Both objects are reduced to flat shapes with heavy outlines, in the kind of palette a photocopied zine would give you. The pairing is deliberate: one is what you rode to the record shop and the other is what you bought there.
