About This Item
Popcorn and cookies are the subject of this DipaliZ porcelain magnet. The magnet is a square porcelain tile measuring 2 by 2 inches, with a magnet mounted on the back. The glazed face has a glossy finish, which gives the print more depth than a flat printed magnet. It is a kitchen piece first, sized to sit on a refrigerator door next to the shopping list.

The story behind this design
Snack food is drawn the way a child would want it drawn: popcorn spilling rather than stacked, cookies with bites already out of them. At two inches there is no room for a scene, so the items are cropped close and overlapped to fill the square completely. Warm yellows and biscuit browns carry it, with no cool color anywhere to cool the appetite.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is this DipaliZ magnet made of?
A: It is square porcelain with a magnet mounted on the backside.
Q: What size is it?
A: The magnet measures 2 by 2 inches.
Q: What does the artwork show?
A: Popcorn and cookies, drawn as original DipaliZ snack artwork and printed on the porcelain face.
Q: Is this a coaster or a magnet?
A: It is a magnet. The porcelain tile is only two inches square and has a magnet fixed to the back, so it is not meant to take a glass.
