This DipaliZ hand towel is printed with abstract snowflakes on a white base. The towel has a 100% polyester printed front and a 100% cotton back: the polyester holds the pattern sharply and the cotton is the side that actually absorbs water. The story behind this design
Each snowflake is taken apart and rebuilt from triangles, chevrons and thin bars, so the six-fold symmetry is still there but the crystal is gone. The palette is cool: pale slate, a soft teal and plenty of white ground. Because the shapes are geometric rather than delicate, the pattern survives being folded over a rail, which is where a hand towel spends most of its life.
