Owls are all eyes, and DipaliZ leaned into that — the facial disc is drawn oversized, the pupils wide, the body tucked down into itself as though settling. The three dark colourways were chosen for the subject rather than the other way round: an owl belongs against night, and the indigo in particular gives the plumage something to catch.
