DipaliZ Epic Space Battle Desk Mat – Neoprene

The DipaliZ Epic Space Battle Desk Mat is a 3 mm neoprene desk mat printed with a space battle scene. Two sizes are sold, 12 by 18 inches and 12 by 22 inches, both wide enough to take a keyboard and a mouse on one surface. The neoprene gives the mat enough thickness to flatten out of its shipping roll. This desk mat suits gamers, students and anyone whose desk is the only wall space they have.

The story behind this design

A desk mat is a landscape format seen from directly above, which is close to useless for most subjects and ideal for a space battle. Ships can be spread across the full width with nothing behind them, and the eye reads the scene the way a tactical display would. The design uses that geometry rather than fighting it.
