About This Item
This DipaliZ product is a coaster set printed with a squirrel and acorn autumn design. Each coaster is square, measuring 3.75 by 3.75 inches. The printing surface is high-gloss MDF and the underside is cork, which grips the table and protects it from heat and rings. The squirrel appears in the artwork; the product itself is the coaster. The set suits an autumn coffee table, a desk, or a housewarming gift for someone whose table needs protecting from themselves.

The story behind this design
A coaster is a small square that spends its life half hidden under a mug, so this squirrel is drawn tucked into a corner with the acorn as the focal point rather than centred where a cup would sit on it. Chestnut, moss and a pale bark grey keep the palette close to the animal's own colouring. The mood is observational, an illustration of a squirrel doing squirrel business rather than a cartoon of one.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this a coaster or a mug?
A: This listing is a coaster set. The squirrel is the artwork printed on the coaster surface.
Q: What are the DipaliZ coasters made from?
A: Each coaster has a high-gloss MDF printing surface with a cork backing to protect the table underneath.
Q: What size and shape are the coasters?
A: The coasters are square and measure 3.75 by 3.75 inches each.
Q: How should the coasters be cleaned?
A: Wipe the gloss surface with a damp cloth and dry it. Do not soak the coasters, because water swells the MDF core.
Care
Wipe the gloss surface with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Do not submerge the coasters or put them in a dishwasher, since standing water damages an MDF core and lifts cork backing.
The size, shape and materials above are read from this listing's own variant options, tags and material record rather than a shared template. The artwork is original to DipaliZ, every set is brand new and printed to order, and DipaliZ ships worldwide.
