The story behind this design
The hardest brief in floor covering is a rug that does not commit. This design keeps to a narrow neutral range and builds its interest from mark-making rather than color, so it works under a bold sofa and under a plain one. It is the sort of piece you buy when the room is not finished yet and you do not want the floor deciding everything.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this DipaliZ rug come in?
A: The rug is offered at 24 by 36, 36 by 24, 36 by 60, 60 by 36, 48 by 72 and 72 by 48 inches.
Q: Is the rug strongly colored?
A: No. It keeps to a narrow neutral range and builds interest from the marks rather than the color.
Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ boho abstract rug?
A: This one stays neutral and textural; the boho abstract rug commits to terracotta, sand and olive.
Q: Which sizes are landscape and which are portrait?
A: The pairs are offered both ways round, so 48 by 72 and 72 by 48 cover the same area in either orientation.
Care
Vacuum the rug on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing them; shake it out rather than beating it so the printed face is not scuffed.
