The story behind this design
The geometry is deliberately asymmetric: triangles and diamonds tile without ever settling into a plain checkerboard, so the eye keeps finding a new path through the pattern. Because the shapes meet edge to edge with no outline between them, color does all the separating, which is what gives the print its flat, poster-like quality. It was drawn to look intentional on a bag that spends its life being thrown into a car trunk.
