About This Item
The DipaliZ Sunflower Tin Candle is a hand-poured candle made from coconut soy wax in a printed tin. It is sold in 4oz and 8oz, in Black or Silver, and in five scents. The label carries a sunflower drawn as original DipaliZ artwork. A coconut soy blend is a plant wax rather than a petroleum one, which is what the biodegradable claim rests on. The sizes, colors and scents listed below come from this candle’s own options.

The story behind this design
A single sunflower fills the label, head turned slightly toward the viewer so the disc of seeds sits off-center rather than flat on. Petals go from a deep gold at the base to a lighter lemon at the tips, against a warm cream ground that keeps the whole thing from reading as a photograph. The mood is late summer and unhurried, which pairs oddly well with the Fresh Coffee scent.

Care
Trim the wick to about a quarter inch before each burn and keep the first burn going until the wax pools to the edge of the tin. Burn it on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts and anything that can catch, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Stop burning once about half an inch of wax is left.
