The story behind this design
A sunflower is two drawings at once: the ring of petals and the dense seeded head at the centre. DipaliZ gave the head the detail — a spiralling pack of seeds rendered close enough to count — and kept the petals simple so they frame rather than compete. On Sand the whole flower reads as warm and tonal; on Black the yellow arrives with real force.
