The story behind this design
The swirls were drawn as continuous curling lines rather than discrete motifs, so the pattern never quite resolves into a repeat and the eye keeps moving along it. Teal carries the whole palette, shifting from a deep sea green in the dense coils to pale aqua where they open out. The mood is water in motion, which is a useful thing to look down at during a long hold.
