The story behind this design

Drawing glass is mostly drawing what is behind it, so each jar here is described by two or three curved highlights and nothing else, letting the plants read straight through. The planting inside each one is deliberately different, a fern in one, moss and a pebble in another, a single succulent in the third, so the row rewards a second look. Greens are kept cool and the glass a barely-there blue-grey, which is what stops a cover full of jars from looking cluttered.
