The story behind this design

This is the single-sided sibling in the DipaliZ turkey placemat set, and it is the one to buy if the mats will live face-up in a drawer between holidays. Because only one face carries ink, the composition could be pushed further towards the edges without worrying about how the reverse would read. The turkey sits large, the way it does on a serving platter.
