The story behind this design
Conifers are drawn here as flat triangular masses rather than as individual trees, which is how they actually look from a ridge a mile away. The linework is spare and the palette is limited to deep green, charcoal and a single lighter tone for the sky gap between trunks. Moss is the colorway the design was really made for, since a green shirt turns the whole print into one continuous landscape.
