The story behind this design
The strap is filled with whole trees rather than cropped foliage: broad canopies, thin trunks and branch work fine enough to read as lace at a distance. Greens sit in two registers, a dark ink-green for the branches and a lighter wash behind them, so the grove gains depth on a narrow band of print. The mood is quiet and shaded, the opposite of a tropical print.
