The story behind this design
One sunflower, drawn without shading and close enough to the body that a petal or two disappears at the edge. The petals are a warm, slightly dusty yellow rather than the loudest yellow possible, which keeps the flower from looking like a warning sign. The center is drawn as a tight grid of small circles. Against the deep background it sits cleanly, the way a sunflower actually looks held up to a bright sky.
