The story behind this design
At towel proportions the leaves had to be turned sideways to fit, which gave the pattern a horizontal flow it does not have on the mat or the bag. Two greens are used, a deep shade for the foreground fronds and a muted one for those behind, so the towel has depth without extra color. White between the leaves keeps it light in a small room.
