About This Item
The DipaliZ Palm Leaf Desk Mat is a printed desk mat that works as a mouse pad and a keyboard mat. Broad palm fronds overlap across the surface in layered greens, drawn large enough that only a few leaves fill the mat. Three sizes are offered, from a mouse-sized pad to a mat that spans a desk. It suits a desk that already has plants on it, or one that needs the suggestion of them.

The story behind this design
The leaves here are drawn deliberately oversized, so a mat holds three or four fronds rather than a repeating field of them. That is the right choice for a desk surface, where a small busy repeat becomes noise under a moving hand, and a large simple shape stays calm. The greens are layered from deep shade to a lit edge, which gives the flat mat a sense of depth without using a photograph.

A: The fronds are drawn oversized, so a mat carries only three or four leaves rather than a small repeating pattern.

Care
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let the mat air dry flat. Do not machine wash, soak or iron it, and roll rather than fold it for storage so the printed surface stays flat.
