DipaliZ Pumpkin Glass Cutting Board Tempered Fall Decor

This DipaliZ cutting board is made of tempered glass, not wood or plastic. Two rectangular sizes are listed: 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches. A pumpkin design is printed on the board's surface, which stays visible because glass does not scar the way a wood board does. Tempered glass is non-porous, so it will not hold onion or garlic odours between uses.

The story behind this design

The pumpkin is drawn large and slightly lopsided, the fairground sort rather than a tidy botanical one, which is what gives the board its humour. Orange and deep green sit against the clear glass so the design reads from across the kitchen. Because the print sits under the working surface, the drawing survives the chopping rather than being worn away by it.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What is this DipaliZ cutting board made of?
A: The board is made from tempered glass.

Q: What sizes are available?
A: Two rectangular sizes are offered: 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches.

Q: Will chopping scratch off the pumpkin design?
A: No. The design sits under the glass working surface, so ordinary chopping does not wear the print away.

Q: Can it be used as a serving board or trivet?
A: Yes. The same tempered glass board works as a cheese or charcuterie surface and as a heat-resistant landing pad on a counter.

Care

Wash by hand with warm soapy water, or place in the dishwasher. Let the glass cool before rinsing, and do not use abrasive powders on the printed face.
