The story behind this design

The country outline does double duty here, acting as both subject and container: the lettering sits inside the borders rather than across them. Because the map is read as a silhouette, the design keeps working when it shrinks to three inches, where internal detail would disappear. The mood is informational and quietly civic, more almanac page than celebration.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What is shown on this sticker?
A: The sticker shows a map of the United States used as the frame for lettering marking 250 years of history.

Q: Which sizes can I choose?
A: There are four sizes on this listing: 3 by 4 inches, 4 by 6 inches, 6 by 8 inches and 8 by 10 inches.

Q: Is this one sticker or a sheet of several?
A: One kiss-cut sticker is supplied per order, on its own backing sheet. The size you choose is the size of the printed design.

Q: How is this different from the eagle decals in this range?
A: This design is cartographic: the country outline carries the message. The eagle decals in the same DipaliZ range use a circular badge instead, with no map.

Care

Stick the decal to a clean, dry and smooth surface, pressing from the middle outward. Give it 24 hours before the surface is washed. Clean around it by hand and keep it out of an abrasive or high-pressure wash.
