The story behind this design
Outdoor patterns have to work harder than indoor ones. There is more light, more distance and usually more going on around them, so a fine print just turns to texture. These blooms were drawn several times larger than they would be on a cushion, and the cream ground was kept open between them so the design still has room to breathe once the chairs and the table are on it.
