The story behind this design
Density is the whole strategy here: flowers overlap edge to edge with no visible ground, so the cushion reads as color first and pattern second. Blooms are drawn at three different scales, which stops the repeat becoming obvious when the same print is ordered at 14 inches and at 20. Coral, mustard and deep teal do most of the work, with white only in the petal highlights.
