A treble clef is a strong outline but an empty one, so it is filled here with the instruments rather than drawn as a solid stroke. Because the clef's curve narrows sharply at the top, the smallest objects had to be placed there and the largest at the base. Both shirt colours are dark, so the fill is printed in warm colours only.
