The story behind this design
The map is drawn in the manner of an old atlas plate, with sepia landmasses, hatched seas and a weathered border. Lettering is kept small enough to be decorative rather than readable from a chair. Across 31 inches the continents land roughly where a keyboard and a mouse divide the desk.
