The story behind this design
This warlock is drawn as a working practitioner rather than a villain, robed and mid-gesture, with the linework doing most of the storytelling. The orange shirt gives the figure a lantern-lit quality, while on soft cream the same drawing reads almost like an old book plate. It is the male counterpart to the witch pieces in the DipaliZ Halloween range, and it carries the same dry tone.
