The story behind this design
Heather irish green and heather royal are unusual grounds for a citrus print, because both are close in value to the leaf green in the artwork. The design solves that by twisting the lemon peel into a spiral and letting the white pith edge carry the outline, so the shape holds even when the greens sit near each other. On white and natural the same twist reads as a simple flourish.
