The story behind this design
The wild flowers are drawn as though picked and dropped rather than arranged, with stems crossing at odd angles and a few blooms cut off by the edge of the napkin. That crop is deliberate: a napkin is folded, and a centered motif disappears into the fold, while an edge-to-edge scatter still shows whichever way it is laid.
