Bow Lake Winter
About This Item
The DipaliZ Winter Wonderland snow globe carries a two-sided print, so the scene is visible from either side rather than from the front alone. It measures 3.5 by 3.4 inches and comes in one size. The scene is Bow Lake in Alberta, with the Canadian Rockies rising behind the water. Because it prints on both faces, this globe works on an open shelf or a desk that people walk around.

The story behind this design
Bow Lake earns its reputation from the color of the water, and the scene leans on it: a hard glacial turquoise sitting under grey peaks and a white snowline. There is no cabin, no figure and no holiday clutter, just water, rock and sky. The two-sided print doubles the view, so the mountains are not lost to whoever happens to be sitting on the wrong side of the desk.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What does a two-sided print mean on a snow globe?
A: It means the artwork is printed on both faces of the insert, so the Bow Lake scene can be seen from either side of the globe.
Q: Where is the scene taken from?
A: The scene shows Bow Lake in Alberta, Canada, with the Rocky Mountains behind the water.
Q: How large is the globe?
A: This DipaliZ snow globe measures 3.5 by 3.4 inches and is made in one size.
Q: Is this a Christmas ornament to hang on a tree?
