The story behind this design
The llamas stand in profile with woven blankets over their backs and tasseled bridles, each one drawn slightly differently so the repeat does not read as a stamp. Between them sit small cacti and zigzag bands borrowed from Andean weaving. The palette is soft and dusty, clay, sage and cream, which keeps a busy repeat calm enough to sleep in.
