About This Item
This DipaliZ bookmark is an aluminum page marker printed with a world map. The bookmark has a slot at the top that fits over the edge of a page. It is offered in one size, on a white ground, and is assembled in the USA. A map design suits a reader working through travel writing, history or atlases. The aluminum construction, the white ground and the assembly location above come from this bookmark’s own DipaliZ product record.

The story behind this design
The map is reduced to coastlines and landmasses with no political borders and no labels, which keeps it legible at the width of a bookmark. Printed dark on white it reads as an engraving rather than an atlas page. Cropping the globe to a tall strip is the whole idea: the continents stack instead of spreading.
