Knitting forces a tree into steps rather than smooth diagonals, and DipaliZ worked with that limitation instead of fighting it — the branches descend in blocky tiers, the way a charted motif has to. The palette is a single deep green against the ground, with no baubles and no tinsel. What is left is the shape of a fir tree, stated plainly.
