Warrior pose is all extension: one arm forward, one back, front knee bent and holding. Giving that line to a sloth stretches the animal into a shape it was never built for, and the drawing leans into the absurdity of the long limbs. The heathered grounds mute the colours so the stance, not the palette, carries the image.
