About This Item
The DipaliZ Zion snow globe sits in an acrylic frame and measures 3.5 by 3.4 inches. It is made in one size. The printed scene is Zion National Park, with the canyon walls rising on either side of the valley floor. This globe is quieter than most park souvenirs, which is what makes it sit well on a working desk.

The story behind this design
Zion is a canyon you look up in rather than across, and the scene is composed that way. The walls run to the top edge of the globe in banded cream and rose sandstone, leaving only a narrow strip of sky between them. Green is held to the valley floor. The compression is the point: a globe this small can suggest height far better than it can suggest distance.
