The story behind this design
A torch held upright is the single motif, drawn tall so that the flame sits near the top edge where it catches the eye first. The lettering wraps the handle rather than crossing it, which keeps the vertical line of the torch unbroken down the whole banner. The mood is ceremonial and upright, the gesture of a monument rather than a party.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is printed on this flag?
A: A raised torch is the central motif, set in Americana colors with commemorative lettering for 250 years of independence.
Q: What material is the flag?
A: Poly poplin canvas, a woven polyester fabric.
Q: Which sizes are offered?
A: Two: 12 by 18 inches and 24.5 by 32 inches, both taller than wide.
Q: How does this differ from the other torch banner in the range?
A: This one sets the torch upright and centered with lettering around it. The companion DipaliZ torch banner angles the torch across the field and leans on the flame rather than the handle.
Care
Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and hang to dry. No bleach, no tumble drying. Bring the banner in before a storm, as wind tearing is mechanical damage and not a fault in the fabric.
