The story behind this design

The design breaks the square into interlocking triangles, arcs and bands that refuse to line up with the napkin's own edges, so folding it produces a different composition each time. Color does the work: electric blue against tangerine, with mustard and plum wedges holding the middle. The mood is graphic and confident, built for a table that is not trying to look traditional.
