The design scatters mixed fall foliage across the sheet, with maple, oak and beech shapes at varied angles in a broad range of greens, golds and reds. The story behind this design
Where a single-species leaf print gets formal quickly, this one was built the way a path looks after a windy week, with several tree species landed on top of each other and nothing lined up. The colour range runs wider than most autumn prints, keeping some leaves still green so the reds have something to push against. Turning the sheet any way still works, which was the practical goal behind the scatter.
