About This Item
The DipaliZ autumn trees weekender bag is a soft-sided 24 by 13 inch travel bag in 100% spun polyester, printed with a watercolour treescape. Spun polyester takes an all-over sublimation print cleanly and resists the scuffing a bag picks up in transit. At this size it holds an overnight or long-weekend pack, and because there is no rigid frame it compresses into a wardrobe when it is not in use.

The story behind this design
Watercolour was the right medium for a bag because the fabric's slight texture works with a soft edge and against a hard one; a vector treescape would have shown every seam. Pigment is allowed to pool at the base of the trunks the way real watercolour does on wet paper, and the canopies bleed into one another rather than being separated. The palette is restrained, ochre and grey-green with one rust accent.
