About This Item
The DipaliZ Painterly Holiday Magic Wrapping Paper is a satin gift wrap printed with Christmas baubles and bows in a rich red and green. Two sheet sizes are sold, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. The ornaments are painted rather than drawn flat, so brush edges and uneven color are part of the design. This gift wrap suits Christmas parcels and anything handed over at a family dinner.

The story behind this design
Christmas ornaments are usually drawn as clean circles with a highlight, which is accurate and dull. These were painted instead, so each bauble carries a visible brushstroke and the reds shift from crimson to a deeper oxblood where the paint pooled. The bows are looser still, almost gestural. The effect is a sheet that looks handmade at arm’s length, which is a good foil for a machine-made bow on top.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this wrapping paper come in?
A: Two sheet sizes, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches.
Q: What finish is the paper?
A: This DipaliZ gift wrap is printed on a satin-finish paper. It is the only finish on this listing.
Q: What is printed on it?
A: Christmas baubles and bows, painted rather than drawn flat, in a rich red and green.
Q: How does it differ from the DipaliZ evergreen gift wrap?
A: This one is a painted bauble design in red and green on satin paper. The evergreen wrap is a tree silhouette in green on beige, and comes on glossy or matte paper in three lengths.
Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, since damp softens paper and a crease shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge for a clean line.
