About This Item
This DipaliZ wrapping paper prints evergreen tree silhouettes against a warm beige ground. Three sheet lengths are sold, 30 by 36 inches, 30 by 72 inches and 30 by 180 inches, each on a glossy or a matte paper. The longest sheet covers a whole Christmas morning of parcels from one roll. The restrained palette makes this gift wrap sit well under a tree dressed in natural tones.

The story behind this design
A fir tree reduced to its silhouette becomes a triangle with a jagged edge, and that shape is legible at any size, which is what a wrapping paper needs. The trees here are drawn at three different heights and spaced irregularly, so the sheet reads as a treeline seen from a distance rather than as a row of identical stamps. Beige rather than white keeps it closer to kraft paper than to a bright festive stock.

Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, since damp softens paper and a crease shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge for a clean line.
