Radiant Christmas Tree Star
About This Item
This DipaliZ ornament is a beveled clear glass decoration printed with a Christmas tree crowned by a single bright star. The design is the plainest of the DipaliZ glass tree ornaments: no snowflakes, no houses and no figures, just the tree and the star. The beveled rim picks up light from the tree behind it, which is what distinguishes glass from the acrylic ornaments in the same range. One round size is listed, in quantities of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 pieces. It suits a restrained tree, a pale or white color scheme, or a single ornament given as a keepsake.

The story behind this design
Everything here is subordinate to the star. The tree is drawn narrow and symmetrical with only a few baubles, and the star above it is given long rays that reach almost to the edge of the circle. Gold against deep green against clear glass is the whole palette. The design is as close as this range comes to a traditional Christmas card motif.
