The story behind this design
The drawing is all in the foam. A single continuous line describes the rosetta on the surface of the latte, with the cup itself reduced to two arcs and a handle, so the eye goes straight to the pattern a barista would have poured. Printed on six different heather grounds, the flecked fabric reads a little like the crema it sits on, which is why the heathers were chosen over flat colors.
