The story behind this design
This patchwork is built from motifs you would find stencilled on cabin walls: stylised pine trees, simple log-cabin quilt blocks, arrowhead bands and rows of small diamonds. The patches are squared off and set in regular columns, which gives the blanket a more orderly feel than the boho patchwork in the same range. Deep pine green and oxblood carry the pattern, cut with oatmeal and a dark charcoal that reads almost as soot.
