The story behind this design
Outdoor graphics usually stack a mountain, a pine and a sun and call it done. This one works in a single ink instead, so everything has to be built from line weight alone: a ridge line drawn heavier where it catches light, trees reduced to a few strokes, and a lot of empty shirt left around the composition. On the heathers the pale ink picks up the fabric texture, which softens the whole thing.
