The story behind this design
Molecular diagrams are usually drawn in black and gray, and the whole idea here is to refuse that: every atom gets a saturated color, and the bonds are drawn thick enough to hold the structure together at two inches. The arrangement stays true to how the atoms actually connect, so a chemistry student reads it as a real structure and everyone else reads it as a pattern.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes can I order?
A: Four square sizes: 2 by 2, 3 by 3, 4 by 4 and 6 by 6 inches.
Q: Is this a science-accurate design?
A: The molecules are drawn as recognizable ball-and-stick structures, then colored and simplified for a sticker rather than reproduced as a textbook diagram.
Q: Is it suitable for a school or a dorm?
A: Yes. The size range covers a locker, a laptop, a binder or a dorm door, and the subject makes it an easy small gift for a science student.
Q: Is there a matching mug?
A: DipaliZ also sells a happy molecule accent mug, so a sticker and a mug can be bought together as a teacher gift.
Care
Apply to a clean, dry surface and smooth outward from the center. Wipe gently; do not scrub the edges, and hand wash anything it is applied to.
