The story behind this design
Ginger cats tumble across this mat in a dozen different attitudes: stretched flat, curled tight, mid-pounce, batting at nothing in particular. They are drawn with simple black line work over flat marmalade orange, and the gaps between them are filled with small daisies, leaves and stray paw prints. The palette is warm and slightly retro, with the orange sitting against a soft cream ground rather than white.
