About This Item
The DipaliZ Giraffe Friends Velveteen Plush Blanket is a printed throw with a short, dense velveteen pile on the face. The blanket is made of polyester and is offered in three sizes, from a 30 by 40 inch lap size to a 60 by 80 inch throw. The velveteen surface holds fine print detail, so the giraffe markings stay crisp. This blanket suits children's bedrooms, playroom floors and anyone who likes safari animal illustration.

The story behind this design
Two giraffes lean their necks together at the center of each repeat, and smaller pairs fill in around them so the pattern reads as a herd rather than a single motif. The markings are drawn as soft-edged patches in caramel and toffee rather than hard geometric plates, which keeps the animals friendly instead of naturalistic. Sparse acacia branches and a warm sand background complete the safari palette without tipping into cartoon brightness.
