About This Item
A cat drawn as a piece of sushi is the artwork on this DipaliZ kiss-cut vinyl sticker. Four square sizes are listed, from 2 by 2 inches up to 6 by 6 inches on a white surface. The joke reads instantly at any of them: cat on top, rice below. It suits a laptop lid, a desk, a planner page or the outside of a lunchbox.

The story behind this design
The whole gag depends on proportion: the cat has to be the right shape to sit on a rice base the way a slice of fish would, so it is drawn loafed, paws tucked, body flattened slightly along the bottom. Rice is suggested with a few white strokes rather than individual grains, which is what stops the lower half turning to mush at two inches. A thin nori band holds the two halves together.
Frequently asked questions
