About This Item
The Dark Floral Botanical Wall Tapestry is a printed fabric wall hanging with original DipaliZ artwork. The design is a dark botanical study: deep-toned blooms and leaves on a near-black ground. This tapestry is made in one size, 26" × 36". At that size it suits a narrow wall, a bed-side panel, a desk nook or a dorm room rather than a full feature wall.

The story behind this design
Dark-ground botanicals depend on edge light, and this one is drawn with a single light source low and to the left. The leaf undersides stay in shadow while the petal rims catch a cool highlight, which is why the flowers appear to float off the black rather than sit on it. The density is deliberately uneven: the lower third is crowded and the top is mostly ground.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size is this tapestry?
A: The DipaliZ Dark Floral Botanical Wall Tapestry is 26" × 36", in portrait orientation.
Q: Is this the same as a large mandala tapestry?
A: No. This is a small portrait panel at 26" × 36". The DipaliZ mandala tapestries run much larger, up to 104" × 88".
Q: What is the background color?
A: The artwork sits on a near-black ground, with the blooms and foliage in deep tones.
Q: Where does a tapestry this size work best?
A: It fits a narrow wall, a space beside a bed, a desk nook or a dorm room, rather than a full feature wall.
Q: Is the design floral or gothic?
A: Both read at once. It is a botanical study drawn in a dark, moody register, which is why it sits well in gothic and cottagecore rooms alike.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent, then let the tapestry dry fully before rehanging. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the printed colors.
