The DipaliZ boho beach cloth is an oversized 38 by 81 inch polyester cloth printed with colorful fall foliage. Polyester is used rather than looped cotton because it is far lighter to carry and dries quickly, which is the point of a beach cloth as opposed to a bath towel. At 81 inches it is long enough to lie on end to end. It works equally as a sarong, a picnic cloth or a sofa throw once the season turns.

The story behind this design
Because the cloth is more than twice as long as it is wide, the foliage is composed as a drift rather than a repeat: leaves gather densely at one end and thin out towards the other, so the piece reads differently depending on which way it is laid down. The colors are saturated deliberately, since a cloth used outdoors in flat daylight loses perceived contrast. Nothing in the pattern is symmetrical.
