The story behind this design
This artwork came out of a walk when the path was more leaf than gravel, and it keeps that scattered, drifting arrangement rather than a tidy wreath. Burnt orange, ochre and deep russet do most of the work, with a few faded greens left behind to show the turn is still happening. The mood is the pleasant slowness of October, cool air and warm color at the same time.
